Our general dentistry services include dental crowns and bridges, fluoride applications, dentures, inlays and onlays, mouth guards, oral cancer screenings, regular check-ups, and more.
Regular Check-Ups
The best way to maintain excellent oral health is through twice-yearly check-ups and cleanings. During your check-up, we’ll provide a thorough dental exam, professional teeth cleaning, and when necessary, digital dental x-rays. During your professional teeth cleaning, we’ll use special tools to remove built-up plaque and harmful oral bacteria from the surfaces of your teeth and below your gum line. We’ll also clean and polish your teeth to help eliminate surface stains and discolorations. Digital dental x-rays allow us to see extremely detailed pictures of your mouth so that we can see what issues may be affecting you and provide the best possible method of treatment.
Fluoride Applications
We can help strengthen your teeth and prevent decay for both children and adults using supplemental fluoride applications. Fluoride is a mineral that helps prevent cavities and can repair teeth in the very early stages of decay. In addition to the fluoride that’s found in most drinking water, topical fluoride can also help strengthen your teeth. This can be obtained through fluoride toothpaste, mouth rinses, and fluoride treatments in our dental office. We use a fluoride varnish that only takes a few minutes to apply. You may be asked to avoid food or drink for at least 30 minutes after treatment to allow your teeth time to absorb the fluoride.

Crowns and Bridges
When teeth are lost or damaged, dental crowns and bridges help restore appearance and function. We take pride in providing crowns and bridges that look natural and function just like your natural teeth.
Dentures
When teeth are lost, dentures are often one of the best options to restore your smile with confidence. Missing teeth can cause lingering issues with biting, chewing, and speaking. During your appointment, we’ll take accurate molds of your mouth in order to create personalized dentures for a comfortable fit and ease of removal. Our team will also continue to provide guidance and education on how to take proper care of your dentures.
Inlays and Onlays
When damage to your tooth is too great for a regular filling but a crown isn’t necessary, inlays and onlays are excellent options for repairing a damaged tooth. An inlay is recommended when the damage is completely within the cusp tips of the tooth, while an onlay is used for more extensive damages that involve more tooth surface, including at least one of the tooth cusps. Inlays and onlays are also known as indirect fillings.

Mouth Guards
Designed for athletes of all ages and skill levels, protective mouth guards are a great way to prevent injury when playing sports. These lightweight devices are worn over your teeth to protect them from injury when impact occurs. Our custom-made mouth guards are comfortable for children and adults. We also offer night guards designed for patients who clench and grind their teeth at night. This condition is known as bruxism, and it can cause serious damage if left untreated. Those suffering from bruxism can experience excessive tooth wear, jaw discomfort, headaches, and tooth fractures.
Oral Cancer Screenings
During every exam, we check for signs of oral cancer. The goal of an oral cancer screening is to identify mouth cancer or any precancerous lesions early when there’s the greatest chance for a cure. Some factors that can increase an individual’s risk for oral cancer include tobacco use of any kind, heavy alcohol use, previous oral cancer, and a history of significant sun exposure.
